May 2006- Gender and Culture in Academic Medicine
- major research project with Brandeis University. Five Medical Schools in the USA are participating in a three part project to learn why women and minorities are underrepresented in the senior ranks and an action research project to change this over a five year period.
Jan 2005 - Coordination in Complex Health Care Cases: in collaboration with the Hospital for Sick Children. To study coordination challenges in complex paediatric cases and to apply complexity science and discourse analysis to reveal patterns and solutions. With Dr Anne Matlow as lead from Hospital for Sick Children and two doctoral candidates at Schulich and three doctors at HSC.
Sept 2002– Social Innovation: To examine how and why social innovations work to address major social and health issues. With Frances Westley at McGill university and funded by Dupont Canada
