|Tomer Strolight oversees all digital corporate development and strategy for Torstar Digital, the Toronto Star and Star Media Group, including: toronto.com, ourfaves.com, thestar.com, Wheels.ca, Workopolis, the Publishing Technology Group, Olive Canada Network, eyeReturn Marketing, online classifed and online product development. |
Tomer has been with Torstar since September of 1995 when he joined The Toronto Star to assist Torstar's first entry into the Internet with the launch of thestar.com. In 1999, Tomer negotiated a partnership with The Globe and Mail to create workopolis.com which has become the leading recruitment and help wanted site in Canada. Currently, Tomer is also Chairman of the Board of the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau). In 2005, Tomer spearheaded the creation of Torstar Digital, which was formed to lead Torstar into its digital future.
Tomer has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University's Schulich School of Business.
