 | Gary has 25 years of multi-industry, multi-disciplined executive experience, developed through executive leadership roles in business operations and transformation. With extensive experience in strategic business planning and execution, business operations and financial management, he has played a senior leadership role in the operations, transformation, and change agenda in a number of leading Canadian companies.
Gary has a strong track record of business improvement that is based on his ability to create clear focus to bring about positive change in an organization. Through strong leadership teams, his focus has been to quickly recognize and execute both strategic and operational solutions to business challenges. His experience has been gained through progressively senior positions with leading organizations such as Bristol-Myers Canada, Royal Trust, Cara Operations, Blockbuster and HBC.
As Chief Operating Officer at Grand & Toy, Gary leads the overall G&T business and is focused on leading and implementing a significant business transformation through his strong leadership team. As G&T moves forward with its new business strategy, Gary leads brand marketing, business development and merchandising, sales (direct, retail, & web), and supply chain.
Gary holds a B. Sc. from the University of Toronto, an MBA from York University (Schulich), and went on to achieve his CGA designation.
