Glain Roberts-McCabe is Founder and President of The Executive Roundtable Inc (www.theexecutiveroundtable.ca), a membership-based organization for leaders on the move. The Executive Roundtable programs combine mentoring and peer to peer coaching to help ambitious leaders succeed by connecting them with others who’ve “been there”.
Glain has been at the executive table since 1992 and successfully led a variety teams in both the profit and not-for-profit arenas. Prior to launching The Executive Roundtable in 2007, Glain’s most recent executive positions have been as the Executive Director of the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) – Canada’s leading organization for executive-minded women; and, as Managing Partner of one of Canada’s leading mid-sized consulting firms, specializing in the area of leadership development.
Glain is a highly sought after coach, facilitator, panelist, keynote presenter and a self-professed “leadership” junkie. Having seen over 100 leadership experts in action (Buckingham and Branson are two favourites) and having read countless books (Leadership and Self-Deception is a MUST read), Glain shares her passion for what she learns through her monthly newsletter (The Roundtable Recap) and her leadership blog (RoundtableTalk).
A life-long learner, she completed the Adult Education diploma program through OISE/University of Toronto (1999) and the Co-Active Coaching program through the Coaches Training Institute (2001). In addition, she also holds a diploma in Creative Advertising and completed advanced Improv Training through Second City. An active volunteer, Glain sits on the Board of Pape Children’s House and is a Sparks Leader. Glain lives in Toronto with her incredibly supportive husband and highly engaging daughter.
