Mark J. Rittinger
Executive Director, Development & Alumni Relations
Schulich School of Business

Mark Rittinger is responsible for coordinating a team of fundraising and alumni relations professionals dedicated to building and enhancing long term relationships between the Schulich School and its key stakeholders, including more than 21,000 alumni living and working in more than 90 countries around the world.

Mark re-joined the Schulich School in February, 2009, after a ten-year hiatus. Hired in 1996 as one of the first fundraising professionals employed by the Schulich School, he joined the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago in 1999 serving as Campaign Director, New York Region, and ultimately Director of Major Gifts. During his five year tenure, Chicago Booth was engaged in a successful seven-year, $250 million campaign as part of the University of Chicago’s $2 billion Chicago Initiative.

Most recently, Mark served as Vice President, Development with the Royal Ontario Museum Governors, responsible for all fundraising activities and sponsorship revenue, as part of a team which raised more than $250 million in support of the transformational Renaissance ROM project.

Mark began his career in fundraising at his alma mater, Wilfrid Laurier University in 1994, and in 1997 received the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education’s Rising Star Award.
