 | Pam Laycock is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence and execution of the business plans and strategies for the various businesses within Torstar Digital and Star Media Group Digital. She provides leadership to thestar.com, toronto.com, the Publishing Technology group, the Site Operations team and the PR, Marketing & Advertising groups at Torstar Digital. In addition, she plays a key role in the development of the broader Torstar Digital strategy and is the lead operational board position for the Olive Canada Network.
Pam began her career at Harlequin in Retail Marketing and Brand Management and then led the development of the digital business for Harlequin, including the start-up of eHarlequin.com. She moved onto run the Direct to Consumer business, followed by a move to the UK to run the Harlequin business in that market. Just prior to leaving Harlequin, she was responsible for all of Harlequin’s Digital development, corporate strategy & acquisitions.
Pam has an MBA from Schulich and an undergraduate Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. |
