Minoo Bhutani
Minoo Bhutani, MBA Director, Career Development Centre & India Country Advisor.As the director of the Schulich Career Development Centre (CDC), Minoo Bhutani manages the unit's internal operations, including all aspects of recruitment related to Schulich students and graduates. Minoo is the CDC's client and recruitment specialist in finance, financial services, venture capital, commercial banking, commercial real estate and risk management. He is also the key corporate relationship officer with senior executives and human resource heads in a range of industries, particularly financial services, accounting, asset management and capital markets. Minoo has over 12 years of industry experience in the field, including positions in Canada with PricewaterhouseCoopers (audit and tax), TD Securities (finance) and Scotia Capital (corporate banking), as well as a position in India with a leading securities company, SMIFS.
As the School's Canadian-based country advisor for India, Minoo is a member of Schulich executive team for India initiatives. In this capacity, he has worked closely with government officials, corporations and alumni in both countries. Minoo also works within the new Schulich MBA in India program in the areas of career management and alumni relations.
Minoo is currently director of trade and education on the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He regularly advises immigration bodies and associations and is an active mentor at the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC). A member of the board of the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE) for four years, he has been CACEE treasurer, chair of the Financial Strategy Committee and a member of the Research & Information Committee. CACEE has awarded Minoo with the Ontario Regional Recognition Award, among others. He is a former board member at SERVE Canada, a Toronto-based organization that works with troubled youth.
A Chartered Accountant (CA Ontario) finalist, Minoo has a BAS in finance (Canada) and an MBA in international finance (India). He has certificates in assessment and behavioural interview skills, coaching and business career counselling.
