The International Bachelor of Business Administration (iBBA) degree is a four-year, direct-entry honours program. It offers candidates an opportunity to acquire a business degree with a global perspective. The program combines the strengths of the Schulich School of Business with those of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies. All students are required to study a language throughout their degree at York - Arabic, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish. The program integrates courses in world geography and political science, and encourages more focused study in specific countries or regions. The full range of business electives available to BBA students are also available to iBBA students, in fact iBBA and BBA students are in many of the same classes. It is a small program of 90 students admitted per year.

Recognizing the need to understand management and business in their international context, the iBBA program requires every student to spend at least one academic term abroad at one of the Schulich School's exchange partners. The School continues to develop partnerships with leading management schools around the world. At present, students have the option of studying on exchange in the following countries and regions: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Uruguay.

iBBA students are encouraged to seek working internships abroad. Students who find summer employment abroad through their own initiative may be granted university credit for the experience if it satisfies specified criteria.
