PRESENTERS
Presenting CEOs identify and share with the audience the challenges facing their business. Early stage companies must have demonstrated impressive growth potential, a track record of sales (typically over $1 million although not necessarily profitable), management depth and must be facing strategic issues, growth, or seeking new financing. Start-up companies must have a product or prototype and a business plan.
The Satellite Broadcast Series are broadcasts presented before a live audience at MIT's Kresge Auditorium and down-linked to participating MIT Enterprise Forum Chapters, MIT Alumnae Clubs, and Sloan Clubs. The Satellite Series presents world-class MIT related speakers in a format that encourages real time audience participation from all locations during the interactive discussion period.
Special Events feature a notable speaker from a highly successful, young company.
PANELISTS
Senior professionals are carefully selected for each event to provide a balance of expertise. Panelists review the business plan and provide input on the company's strategy and competitive position. They also identify opportunities and offer advice.
NETWORKING & LEARNING
Forum activities have something for everyone. Owners and managers of young companies can meet their peers, exchange insights and gain exposure to sources of financing. Professionals such as industry experts, bankers, lawyers, accountants, private investors and venture capitalists come to hone their skills and meet prospective clients. Academics attend to keep abreast of new business developments and to find research and consulting opportunities. Students of entrepreneurship can relate their studies to the real world.
