The Schulich School's PhD Program in Administration is designed to prepare students for a career in university teaching and research. Our program offers outstanding students the opportunity to develop the theoretical and methodological expertise necessary to conduct leading-edge research at the emerging frontiers of business.
Students can choose to complete their doctoral studies in one of six key management discipline: accounting, finance, marketing, operations management, organizational behaviour or management policy. Our program offers opportunities in both quantitative and qualitative research. Further, a student's program of study can be complemented by cross-disciplinary research and coursework outside Schulich in areas such as economics, mathematics, or psychology.
At the Schulich School of Business, we value the training of PhD students, and are committed to providing a first-rate educational and research experience for them.
Future students may find helpful information in the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies handbook entitled "Your Future: A Guide for Potential Graduate Students".
