York's Business School Celebrates 40 Years…
Dean Dezsö Horváth is proud to announce the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of York's Schulich School of Business (née the Faculty of Administrative Studies as it was called in 1966).
During this Anniversary year, we will celebrate our past achievements and highlight our current strengths that will help us reach even greater heights of academic accomplishment and service to our various communities.
We are sponsoring numerous faculty-wide academic and management events that are both high level and high profile, while featuring all of the School's academic programs as colleagues undertake activities that contribute to the celebratory effort.
The Anniversary will also celebrate the human side of Schulich (not that scholarship is inhuman!) through various social activities that embrace the range of stakeholders in our community, from students at all levels to our dedicated staff and management team to faculty colleagues who represent the best in academic and professional accomplishment and potential. Faculty, staff, students, alumni, advisors, supporters and friends of Schulich are all invited to participate and celebrate.
The 40th Anniversary year will run from early September of this year through mid-June of 2007.
We urge you to keep a close eye on this calendar page and to make every effort to be part of what we believe will be a most important life marker for all of us at Schulich at York.
